About the Role

As a Brand Manager, you will own all aspects of your business. You'll be responsible for a new function that will cultivate brand strategies, drive growth, implement new and exciting products, developing go-to-market strategies for dispensaries, leading a team, and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients. You'll leverage your creative skills to come up with new ways to meet brand objectives.

What you will do (Essential Functions)

  • Partner with key stakeholders to create new product lines and develop brand strategy, marketing, GTM approach
  • Proven track record to strategically build brands within the Retail Cannabis Markets
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of brand strategies manages the execution of established growth and profit objectives
  • Leverages relevant consumer and customer trends and insights to build a plan and deliver against business objectives
  • Oversees the development and implementation of the creative and communication strategy, campaign idea, communication plan, and the development, creation, deployment, and optimization of the campaign assets
  • Leads detailed analysis to identify relevant consumer and customer trends and insights; seeks-out innovative ways to continuously build the brand to obtain or maintain category leadership
  • Oversees relationships with clients ensuring alignments with brand goals and objectives
  • Works on interdepartmental planning teams, working cross-functionally to improve sales and order fulfillment processes within the organization
  • Identifies optimal consumer target and brand positioning, considering and affecting the overall category
  • Outlines and evaluates current and proposed product attributes and effectively communicates consumer product needs to all parties involved in the product development process
  • Develops, coaches, and mentors direct report(s)
  • Prospect leads and secures new business to build sales
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Help Grow existing accounts
  • Facilitate meetings and presentations for the brands at strategic customer outlets

Who you are (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of sales, marketing, communications, finance, supply chain/supply planning, process development, new product development, or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience effectively presenting information to top management, public groups and boards of directors
  • Successful proven track record of new category development
  • Strong Rolodex of relevant contacts
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Must have great interpersonal skills
